Jo is our Training Coordinator with almost 20 years experience in Social Care and 10 years as a professional trainer. Jo holds a number of training and social care qualifications and is currently studying for a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, in order to gain Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status. Jo is qualified to train learners in Education and Training, Food Safety and the All Wales Moving and Handling Passport and also designs and delivers bespoke training solutions for individuals and teams.
Andy Watters is a Registered Social Worker with more than 35 years experience in the care sector. He was a lecturer in social care and nursing at further and higher education levels until retirement in 1996. He trains learners in adult protection and health and safety.
Dave Massey is our Positive Behaviour Management trainer. He has 7 years experience in social care with Elliots Hill. Dave holds a professional training qualification and also has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care.
Sue Grant is responsible for delivering the All Wales Moving and Handling Passport and bespoke manual handling courses. Sue has been an Occupational Therapist for over 20 years, working to help people return home, looking at moving and handling issues, which involved training carers, family and other staff. Sue has worked with elderly people, stoke rehabilitation, and community rehabilitation in England, Wales, Scotland and USA.
Jamie has worked in social care with Elliots Hill for 5 years. In 2011 he won a Wales Care Award in the Newcomer category. He holds the Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice and an Advanced Diploma in Positive Behaviour Management. Jamie trains learners in Health and Safety, Infection Control and Fire Safety.
Paul Copp holds the PTLLS qualification and trains learners in Autistic Spectrum Disorder awareness.
